Organizers behind the Northern Nights Music Festival (NNMF) returns to the Redwood forest along the Humboldt and Mendocino County lines summer for the sixth annual summer weekend event, headlined by beat master Mr. Carmack, house act Thomas Jack, and electronic producer Emancipator.

Other performers announced as part of the Phase 1 lineup include electronic R&B duo act Brasstracks, Bay Area hip-hop act Sage the Gemini, hip-hop and classical Indian music pairing Grand Tapestry (consisting of Eligh from Living Legends and Alam Kham, son of the legendary Sarode Maestro Ali Akbar Khan), bass act Jack Beats, and California dancehall producers Bad Royale.

The three-day celebration of music, art, cannabis, food and local culture is infamous for its beachside dance parties, afternoon swims, and (legally high) vibes. New this year is the festival’s partnership with The Emerald Cup, known for its intimate celebration of Cannabis history and culture.

NNMF 2018 also previously announced that the Dirtybird Players (Justin Martin, Walker & Royce, Ardalan, Worthy b2b Option4) will have their own dedicated stage at this year’s gathering. There will also be a takeover by Los Angeles-born production powerhouse Brownies & Lemonade with some special guests. In total, more than 90 artists will perform this year.

NNMF is located along the South Fork of the Eel River at Cook’s Valley Campground. The site is located about 3.5 hours north of San Francisco at the intersection of Mendocino and Humboldt counties. Last year, saw performances by Jai Wolf, Living Legends, Justin Jay, Random Rab, and Cherub. Tickets start at $169 for a general admission three-day passes and $289 for a VIP pass.
