Castro Street Fair

“The Happiest Place in San Francisco” this Sunday is the Castro Street Fair. Festival season is winding down for the year, so slip on your dancing shoes and don your rainbow best to celebrate the Castro community and the end of summer.

The annual celebration, founded by Harvey Milk in 1974, provides stages with live entertainment and music alongside booths of hundreds of local artists, vendors, craftspeople, and organizations.

New this year is the addition of food trucks. Quench your thirst at drink booths with beer and Stoli cocktails.

Money collected from the suggested $5 donations goes directly to support 30 local non-profits and community organizations, and funds the flag at the corner of Market and Castro. Your donation gets you a sticker which is good for $1 off drinks at official Castro Street Fair beverage booths.
