Just Announced: Lightning in a Bottle 2016 Lineup

Live music event producers the Do LaB just made a gigantic announcement, revealing the complete lineup for their 2016 Lightning in a Bottle festival, headlined by down-tempo vocalist Chet Faker, dream pop artist Grimes, and future garage producer Jamie XX.

The four-day music festival with three large performance stages takes place May 25-30 over Memorial Day Weekend at San Antonio Reservoir Recreation Area in Bradley within Monterey county. The event’s location is about a three and a half hour drive from San Francisco, and fortunately outdoor camping on-site is encouraged. Beyond the music acts, Lightning in a Bottle (known also as LIB) offers art, yoga, and education to all attendees.

Two-day and four-day tickets can be purchased on the event’s website now. Ther eare also options for RV camping for those that are interested in ‘glapming’ rather than traditional tent camping. Check out our photo’s from last year’s festival.

Additional noteworthy acts on this year’s lineup include instrumental electronic act Emancipator Ensemble, electro R&B duo Marian Hill, electronic project Dimond Saints (An-Ten-Nae + ReLeece), and Bay Area native Lane 8. Even more appreciated artists performing this year at LIB are Big Gigantic, Oakland electronic artist The Polish Ambassador, experimental electronic act Four Tet, and trap artist Mr. Carmack.
