Outside Lands 2018 Lineup Announcement: The Weeknd, Florence + the Machine, Janet Jackson, Many More
Organizers behind Outside Lands announced the lineup for the 11th annual festival, headlined by R&B producer The Weeknd, English rock band Florence + the Machine, and dance-pop legend Janet Jackson.
Other notable acts on this year’s lineup span many genres, from trap rapper Future and hip-hop group N.E.R.D led by Pharrell Williams to alternative standouts highlighted by the return of Beck, along with folk band Bon Iver, Alaskan breakout rockers Portugal. The Man, and Scottish synth-pop band CHVRCHES.
May 11 Update: After the unfortunate news that Huey Lewis and the News had to cancel their upcoming appearance at Outside Lands, organizers for the festival added four new acts to the lineup. R&B soul singer Janelle Monáe, hip-hop artist Saba, indie singer-songwriter Billie Eilish, along with Sacramento-based group Hobo Johnson & The Lovemakers have all been announced as performers.
The bill has quite the bevy of electronic heavyweights, including but not limited to Seattle dance act Odesza, bass titan DJ Snake, downtempo vocalist James Blake, turntablist Jamie XX, ambient group Tycho, funky duo Chromeo, and saxophone/drum pairing Big Gigantic.

In addition to the musical talent, the 2018 festival will serve 200+ menu items from the best Bay Area restaurants, plus hundreds of Northern Californian wines and beers along with a collection of the region’s best cocktail bars. Find all these goodies inside Golden Gate Park at Wine Lands, Beer Lands, Taste of the Bay Area, The Back Wine, Cocktail Magic, and GastroMagic. Additional on-site experiences include Outsider Art, Eco Lands and The Barbary, which features comedy and cabaret, named in honor of San Francisco’s Barbary Coast district.
