Smuggler’s Cove Receives More National Recognition
Smuggler’s Cove, the rum/tiki bar in Hayes Valley which has received numerous accolades and praise, got even more recently.
Travel + Leisure’s May issue named Smuggler’s Cove among the top cocktail bars in the U.S.
Calling it a “temple to rum,” the magazine describes it as “walking into a faux tropical oasis amid uninteresting office buildings and stumbling upon a Polynesian shipwreck.”
The article also marvels at the more than 170 rums Smuggler’s Cove features and the drinks from “prohibition-era Havana to California tiki classics.”
