SnowGlobe NYE Festival Announces 2017 Lineup (Over 50 Artists, Zedd, Porter Robinson, Dillon Francis & More)
With the summer festival season in the rearview mirror, it’s time to start planning for the next few months of fun. The biggest end-of-year music event in Northern California, SnowGlobe, just unveiled the complete lineup today with house mavens Zedd, Porter Robison, and Dillon Francis, and Travis Scott on the top of the bill.
The 7th annual three-night, outdoor festival and NYE celebration in South Lake Tahoe takes place December 29-31. The schedule includes more than 50 artists performing across 3 stages, topped with an explosive fireworks display to ring in 2018 with style.
In addition to the dynamic lineup of musicians, the one-of-a-kind winter festival is just a bunny slope ride away from nearby resorts. Snow-seekers can get the best of both worlds by soaking in the alpine setting by day and experiencing epic live performances at night.
Although the lineup is primarily electronic artists, others taking the stage at SnowGlobe this year include rappers Khalid and E-40, along with ambient artist Tycho, local product Lane 8, and future bass talent Jai Wolf.
Other noteworthy acts appearing on the well-rounded 2017 lineup are London trap master Troyboi, Dirtybird members Justin Martin, Shiba San and Justin Jay, along with British future garage act Kidnap Kid, and Los Angeles-based producer Falcons. See below for the complete lineup.
SnowGlobe will once again take place at Bijou Park on the Lake Tahoe Community College campus, but this time with a new layout, featuring new art installations and the return of SnowGlobe’s Big Air activation. Watching professional ski and snowboard athletes fly through the air doing tricks in-between sets on the main stage. Additional details about the festival layout will also be announced soon.
Those looking for lodging accommodations might one to consider the event’s partnership with Hotels for Hope. The festival’s exclusive lodging partner will donate a portion of SnowGlobe attendees’ bookings to the Lake Tahoe Boys & Girls Club, which provides children and teens with a safe, positive and welcoming environment to have fun and enhance their education and experiences.
