The arrival of the Do LaB stage lineup is the unofficial start of the countdown to Coachella. With the two-weekend festival only a few weeks away, organizers today revealed this year’s Do LaB stage lineup, highlighted by hip-hop and trap artist Mr. Carmack, Dirtybird Records’ co-founders Barclay Crenshaw (Claude VonStroke’s alter ego) and Justin Martin, as well as LA-based producer Gaslamp Killer.
Other noteworthy performers that will descend on the desert this year are bassy beat-master Bleep Bloop, German electronic act Monolink, Swedish producer Jonas Rathsman, another Dirtybirds’ Records talent Shiba San, plus Desert Hearts members Lee Reynolds, Mikey Lion, and Porkchop.
The Do LaB stage has been a Coachella festival fan favorite for all 13 years of its existence. The artistic venue provides attendees with a welcome break from the desert heat thanks to staff who spray the crowd with water spray guns. It is also the most intimate experience of the weekend given the fans’ proximity to the artists performing on stage, the minimal density of the crowd, and the always positive vibes felt in the unique space.
Unlike the rest of Coachella, the Do LaB stage has a different lineup of performers between weekend one and weekend two. A cherry on top is the fact that a surprise guest performer will take the stage at the end of the night to cap off an amazing three days of music. Previous years saw surprise closing sets from big time artists like Major Lazer, The Glitch Mob, Bob Moses, and Bonobo.
