Treasure Island Music Festival Reveals 10th Anniversary Lineup: Sigur Rós, Ice Cube, Purity Ring…
The organizers behind Treasure Island Music festival announced the complete lineup for the 10th anniversary event, headlined by Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós and Compton-based rapper Ice Cube. Taking place October 15-16, other noteworthy performers include the return of James Blake (who played the festival back in 2013), as well as local acts former SF resident ZHU, current SF resident and ambient act Tycho, and Glass Animals.
Ice Cube has been making his rounds this year with an appearance at Coachella and will play at HARD Summer festival next month at Auto Club Speedway in Southern California.

The two-day festival is one of the more unique events in the Bay Area, in that it takes place on Treasure Island with an intimate two-stage layout, plus a silent disco and ferris wheel. Other acts we are expecting to bring it big on this year’s lineup? Wild Nothing and Mura Masa, along with indie rock act Car Seat Headrest. See below for the complete list of performers.
Early bird two-day general admission tickets go on sale on sale this Thursday, June 16 at 10am for $159.50 and jump to $179.50 for regular sale general admission when early bird sells out. VIP tickets cost $335.
The daily lineup for Saturday and Sunday of the festival should be released in the coming months. Last year, The National and Deadmau5 were the headliners. We hope this isn’t the last Treasure Island Music Festival given the upcoming redevelopment taking place on the island in the coming years.
