The World (Series) is Yours
It's a huge week for San Francisco as the Giants return to the World Series for the third time in five years. We've highlighted 11 Great Spots to Watch the Game for those who didn't pick up an $800 ticket. Tonight, New York rapper Nas celebrates the 20th anniversary of his breakthrough album Illmatic while Jessie Ware stops at Amoeba for a free show. It's all about bacon at Canela Bistro's one-night collaboration with Bacon Bacon and there's a new beer destination opening on Nob Hill with Liquid Gold tap room and bottle shop. Big Freedia brings some booty bounce to Mezzanine and Holy Ghost! is back for a DJ set at Harlot. The two-day Bridge School benefit returns with Neil Young and Pearl Jam and, for those who can’t wait, numerous Halloween Parties are already arriving at local venues.
