We all have those moments when we question reality. Those times when you feel like you're on an episode of "Candid Camera" or you experience something so ridiculously good that you are compelled to ask yourself: is this life real or a dream? Well, sometimes it can be both. Life in the Bay Area can certainly be dreamy...Have you seen Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist? Do you remember the best band in the movie? Yeah, that was Bishop Allen. Check them out in real life at Rickshaw Stop tonight. And Pillow Talk isn't just for post-coital bed-y-byes. It's now the new monthly at Project One. The difference between fact and fiction isn't a fine one in War Music, the much-anticipated reimagining of The Iliad opening at A.C.T. But if you like a little more wine with your war, then the Toast of the Town at the War Memorial Opera House is your pick. This weekend salsa fans will be shaking their hips at the San Francisco Salsa Festival while others can drown their sorrows at the Whiskies of the World Expo or green their wardrobes at Sip & Thrift. Close Sunday out with either Bonfire Madigan at Café du Nord or the Switchboard Music Festival at Dance Mission Theatre. And whatever you do - remember to keep it real...

"New York-based band w/ a new album forthcoming. "Lustrous indie pop notable for its versatility, clever lyrics, and offbeat instrumentation. "Their self-titled debut having established OK Go as a competent if unremarkable hard-pop band that sounded like Jimmy Eat World without the emo drone, there was little cause to anticipate the learning curve the band shows on their follow-up, Oh No..."

at A.C.T. (8pm)
In a wildly theatrical, totally modern interpretation that captures all of the passion and spirit of Homer's Iliad, renowned writer and director Lillian Groag (A.C.T.'s The Rivals) reignites the wrath of Greek warrior Achilles against his archrival, Agamemnon. Adapted from lauded contemporary poet Christopher Logue's ravishing translation that was 45 years in the making...

One of the few remaining native San Franciscan's, Kitten on the Keys is a frisky one ma'am band. Her long awaited one woman musical follows the hi-jinks of a dorky suburban gal who is not so secure, a bit addicted, and oh so slightly socially impaired. All of a sudden, with a flip of a switch, or an hallucination, her life changes by discovering punks, punk-rocker and the rock star lifestyle.
at 103 Harriet (10pm - 3am)
Radioclit describe their music as a blend of dirty rap, Baltimore club, British grime, funk carioca and dance-pop. They also have an impressive catalog of highly danceable, African-inspired remixes including Bonde do Role's hit Gasolina, and DJ Mujava's Township Funk.

Rachel Maddow is the new star of cable news. Her hipster vibe, wicked smarts, and genuine good cheer have made her show an instant hit. Existing in the space between PBS's NewsHour and Jon Stewart's Daily Show, Maddow's program privileges reporters and actual experts over pundits, favors real information over blather and comes with a healthy side of sass.

This Danish alt-rock sixtet The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, who formed only a year ago, have put something irresistable together modernizing classic 60's soul, Motown and psychedlic-pop into a cosmic indie melange. The soulful, squeaky voice of Mette Lindberg, often compared to Amy Winehouse, certainly marks their sound...
at Slim's (9pm)

"It becomes fitting, upon listening to Pelican's music, that the band hails from Chicago. When Tortoise and their contemporaries ushered in a new wave of instrumental music over a decade ago from the Windy City, it was a pastiche of genre-defying sound, simultaneously cohesive and expansive in influence..."
