Now Playing: Our Nixon, Frida, & Populaire
Here we are, another week in a holding pattern, waiting for the “big” Oscar films yet to come. But never fear, there are few good films that we can recommend. Understandably, The Family will get all the press but these are the films you should check out. Our Nixon and Good Ol’ Frida are documentaries that take us behind the scenes of two institutions — the Presidency and the Beatles — while Populaire is a quirky, witty, awkward love story that French cinema does oh so well.
