College cafeteria food brings up memories of bland entrees, overcooked pasta and unimaginative starchy side dishes. But not every university dining hall offers up tasteless food. Some ivory tower institutions actually feature – dare I say it – delicious and varied cuisine. Which ones and where are they, you ask?

The Daily Beast has compiled a list the the best in college food. Topping the list is Oregon State University, followed soon after is Virginia Tech, St. Olaf, UMass Amherst, Bowdoin College. Surprisingly, Mills College in Oakland clocked in at #8, edging out Stanford who was ranked #9.
