More Street Eats, Drinks and Music
The Mission hosts another celebration of food, drinks and music this weekend with the 20th Street Block Party, featuring a full lineup of bands and neighborhood favorites (think Flour + Water and Trick Dog cocktails). Modern rock's leading renaissance man Jack White arrives for back-to-back shows at the Civic Auditorium and Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden dust off their 90s hits for a show at Shoreline. Weekend warriors can head south for the two-day First City Festival in Monterey or keep the party in SF with at local clubs. Stones Throw label head Peanut Butter Wolf drops by Monarch for a DJ set, J Rocc & Rock Medina present "What The Funk?! James Brown vs. Fela Kuti" and Miles Medina is at Infusion.
