We in the Bay Area have a lot to be proud about. But little has made us prouder than seeing the dozens of same-sex couples tying the knot over the last week. It makes you feel lucky to live in a place that challenges the status quo and believes in a little thing like love. This being Pride Week, there are plenty of things to do, here are a few picks. Tonight make your way to North Beach for the Zoetrope All-Story Party at Zoetrope Café celebrating the mag's newest release. Another rag gala, San Francisco magazine's Best of the Bay Party at the Concourse Exhibition Center, is another great highlight. On Friday night, get dirty at Bay Area Derby Girls Mud Wrestling at CELLSpace where hot girls will be slithering all over one another. Or you can play it cool at Film Night in the Park where All About Eve will be screening in Union Square. On Sunday there's Lucha VaVoom at The Fillmore featuring strippers, Mexican-wrestlers, and comics and, of course, the LGBT Pride Parade when the entire city turns into one, big giant rainbow.
