ABOUT THE CONCERT
On Saturday, April 22nd, Soprano Michelle Chang, accompanied by pianist Andrew Vickers & special guest tenor Tim Eischens, present Hymne à l’amour, an eclectic musical repertoire including American jazz & musicals, Spanish & German art songs, French chansons, & Italian opera. From Billie Holiday to Edith Piaf to Fernando Obradors, this program is as diverse as love itself.

ABOUT THE DREAMER FUND
Due to citizenship restrictions, school loans are virtually unavailable for many Dreamer law students. The Dreamer Fund is a project to help Dreamers cover costs of law school. We are a student-run organization committed to education equity for undocumented students of law. Dreamers & other minorities must fill more positions of power in order to build a society inclusive of all communities.
ABOUT THE MUSICIANS
Michelle Chang is a soprano, a music educator & a producer, born & raised in Taiwan. She studied Vocal Performance & Music Education at the University of Music & Performing Arts Mannheim Germany, sang in the professional chorus of the Zurich Opera House in Switzerland, & co-founded the People’s Opera of Zurich.

Andrew Vickers was born in Los Angeles, graduated with a B.A. in Music from the UC Santa Cruz, & received his M.M. in composition from our own San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Andrew is an acclaimed composer who writes in a variety of music styles & teaches composition at the San Francisco School of the Arts.

Tim Eischens is a tenor & an accompanist. He earned his music degree from Minnesota State University–Moorhead, the Mozarteum Conservatory, & the University of Salzburg, Austria. He has sung with the San Francisco Lyric Opera, Urban Opera, Renaissance Voices, Choral Society & Bach Chorus.
