Azúcar Con Aché (ACA) is an exciting multicultural ensemble of women based in the San Francisco Bay Area who groove to salsa and latin jazz style music. The band name translates to "Sweetness with Powerful Blessings" and their songs are performed in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. ACA's sound combines a creative mix of original compositions and tasty arrangements of standard tunes. Their diverse musical backgrounds draw from traditions in Africa, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, New York, and California. ACA's dynamic musicians have been featured At UC Berkeley's Empowering Women of Color Conference, the Multicultural Night of Resistance, Yoshi's Jazz Club and many more. ACA's enticing rhythms, stellar talent, and high energy will lift your spirits and get you in the mood for dance!
