Dirtybird BBQ Moves to Oakland Plus Full Lineup Announced
The fellas from Dirtybird Records revealed the lineup for their annual summer BBQ, taking place this year at a new Northern California venue. Mixmasters Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, J. Phlip, Christian Martin, Ardalan, and Worthy will all be performing their own sets at Oakland’s Middle Harbor Shoreline Park.
The dynamite combination of outdoor beats with tasty BBQ are sure to make for a super saucy situation. This one-day-only, 21+, rain or shine gathering will also see the return the Best In Show contest for the third year. Attendees dressed in the best costumes and totem designs will have a chance to win special prizes. Tickets start at $40 plus fees with escalating price tiers as tickets sell out. An additional $20 “feast” ticket includes a plate full of authentic BBQ goodness.
Last year, the Bay Area Dirtybird BBQ took place on Treasure Island and due to all the recent development, the San Francisco-based electronic music crew moved the summer festivities to the shoreline in Oakland.
