Giants FanFest 2013 Kicks Off Baseball Season at AT&T Park

The Giants are helping to rid San Francisco of its post-Super Bowl hangover with a  FanFest at AT&T Park featuring players from the team, behind-the-scenes tours and a display of the 2010 and 2012 World Series trophies.

Giants FanFest, which is free to the public, takes place on Saturday, February 9 from 10am to 3pm. Fans get a chance to meet some of their favorite current players including National League MVP Buster Posey, Madison Bumgarner, Brandon Crawford and World Series MVP Pablo Sandoval. There will be autograph booths around the stadium along with a chance for fans to view and take pictures with the 2010 and 2012 World Series Trophies at Pier 48 across the Lefty O’Doul Bridge.

There will also be a self-guided press box tour, kids-only autographs, a kids zone and a chance to walk around the stadium and get an up-close look at where the Giants take the field.

The team warns that fans should expect extra long lines waiting for autographs, especially for the team’s star players. But they do say there are plenty of other things to do, including purchasing single game tickets for the 2013 season.
