Event: A Bacchanal at SFMOMA

SFMOMA is hosting a bacchanal tonight. Well, at least something along those lines. To celebrate their exhibit “How Wine Became Modern” (closing April 17th), the museum is hosting a wine-themed party. There’ll be wine, food, art and a literary event to follow with Pop-Up Magazine.

Bay Area chefs will be presenting tasting plates on the theme of bacchanalia and there will we locally produced wine and beer on hand. After the bacchanal, Pop-Up Magazine will present a wine-themed “Sidebar” – a live event in the atrium showcasing writers, filmmakers, photographers and public radio producers.
