Electronic music titans Diplo and Skrillex bring their collaborative project Jack Ü to headline this year’s SnowGlobe Music Festival, along with moombahton master Dillon Francis and Australian electronica musician Chet Faker. This year will be the 5th iteration of the South Lake Tahoe festival, which is the largest New Years’ music event in Northern California and now has a much stronger focus on electronic music.
November 12 Update: Organizers have announced even more artists have been added to the lineup, including rapper G-Eazy, hip-hop duo Run The Jewels, electronic duo Bob Moses, electro house acts Louis The Child, Rob Garza of trip-hop duo Thievery Corporation, Northwestern reggae producer Lafa Taylor, London instrumental artist Louis Futon and progressive house act Will Clarke. Check out the full lineup further below.
Beyond the heavyweight acts, other noteworthy talents scheduled to perform this year include deep house producer Duke Dumont, Bay Area rapper E-40, Sydney-based DJ Alison Wonderland, plus former San Francisco resident and electronic music producer Lane 8. Also appearing on the docket are members of the Dirtybird crew: Claude Von Stroke, Justin Martin, J.Phlip, and Justin Jay.
Advanced tickets for SnowGlobe are on sale now, with a three-day pass starting at $169 (or $199 with shuttle pass) and $379 for a 3-day VIP pass, which comes with a shuttle pass. Once advance tickets sell out, regular ticket prices jump to $189 for 3-day general admission and $449 for a 3-day VIP pass. There might be one ‘last chance’ wave of tickets available after regular tickets are sold, and that pricing is to be determined.
Last year’s SnowGlobe headliners were Disclosure, Australian instrumentalist DJ Flume, house producers Porter Robinson, and Russian-German electro-house musician Zedd.
