Continuing the long tradition of social activism and awareness at Golden Gate Park, Michael Franti & Spearhead return to their home turf for the annual Power to the Peaceful Festival this weekend at Speedway Meadow in Golden Gate Park. Put a flower in your hair, come down from your Burning Man buzz, and join in the group yoga session before a full day of music and good times in the park. If you can't wait to get your groove on, get down to Motown at Cat Club and head to the Embarcadero for another night of free (with RSVP) fun on the patio with Si*Se at Sound Check. Feel the bass at the SF Electronic Music Festival and the Get Freaky Afterburn, also a sure way to rid your pores of any lingering Playa dust. Sweeten up at Ghirardelli Square Chocolate festival, get salty at 2nd Sunday Salted Sessions at Kelly's Mission Rock, or just sit with a brew and watch the tide roll away at Brews on the Bay.
