Corn Dog Dreams and Nightmares on Wax
In San Francisco, we love the farm-to-table movement and artisanal butchers and bakers, but sometimes there's the need for a good ol' Americana classic. That's what the niche 2nd Annual Corn Dog Day Festival hopes to fill, complete with food truck corn dogs, beer and circus classes. The Disposable Film Festival is back with a new collection of films made on everyday devices like cell phones, pocket cameras and webcams and buzz rapper Ana Tijoux stops at the Independent. The Elbo Room welcomes Mykki Blanco and Rebirth Brass Band brings more second-line funk to Mezzanine. Nightmares on Wax returns to Mighty and Fedde Le Grand touches down at Ruby Skye with Cazzette and Moguai.
