Fight Club For Cheese Heads
It's all about steam punk chic, Edwardian period dress and Edward Gorey-inspired theatrics this week during the two-day Edwardian Ball takeover at the Regency Ballroom. Feadz brings French electro to the inner Richmond at Neck of the Woods and Mimosa lands at 1015 Folsom fresh trap beats. Psych pop duo Painted Palms celebrate their debut album and The Fog Design+Art Fair hosts interactive discussions to benefit SFMOMA. Serious cheese enthusiasts gather for the Cheesemonger Invitational. Promoters say, "think Olympics meets fight club" for cheese-sounds cheesy (and delicious), right? In other food news, the Good Food Awards honors more than 100 businesses at several events throughout the week and the Ferry Building hosts a talk on Scaling Up Artisanal Food.
