OSL Nightlife

We can't forget about all of the awesome parties, concerts, albums and songs from 2011, but there are plenty of fresh events to kick of the new year. After Dark at the Exploratorium brings a Rock, Paper, Scissors competition to one of the city's favorite science venues and the Accordion Apocalypse provides another uniquely SF event. Dick Dale, the King of Surf guitar widely distributed via the Pulp Fiction soundtrack and a Black Eyed Peas remix, is across the Bay in Oakland and Shen Yun brings the Chinese tradition back to the War Memorial Opera House. It's all about the bass at the 120 Minutes Rap Party and local electro-pop trio BLVD kicks off 2012 for the third consecutive year at The Independent.
