The Wood Brothers are an Americana and blues band consisting of real brothers Chris on upright bass and Oliver Wood on acoustic and electric guitar, as well as the recent addition of the multi-instrumentalist Jano Rix. After pursuing separate musical careers for around fifteen years, the brothers performed together at a show in North Carolina after Oliver sat in on a set with Medeski Martin & Wood. Since then, they have released several albums together and have attracted acclaim for their talents: Oliver for his songwriting and Chris for his innovative musicianship.
