It took Tennessee indie-rockers The Features nearly a decade to finally put out a proper release. Hailing, from the small town of Sparta in the mid '90s, their early influences included diverse groups such as Neil Young, Guns n' Roses and Camper van Beethoven. The band recorded two would-be debut full-lengths for two different labels, but both were shelved. Their debut LP finally came in 2004 on Universal, a label they left shortly thereafter to become the first act signed to Kings of Leon imprint, Serpents & Snakes. Their journey has not been in vain.
