Lauded by the Washington Post for her "strikingly poised nobility" and "commanding presence", the brilliant, young pianist, Tanya Gabrielian has risen to international acclaim. Tanya has performed on four continents venues in such venues as Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall in New York, Sydney Opera House, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Wigmore Hall in London, and the Salle Cortot in Paris, and with such orchestras as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, New London Sinfonia, and the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra. Acalanes graduate, Jessica Winn made her professinal vocal debut in 2011 and now performs throughout the Bay Area. She is currently singing La Madra in Golden Gate Opera's production of Puccini's Madame Butterfly.

Trust in Education (TIE) is a non-profit, secular grass-roots organization, helping Afghan families rebuild their lives through education, health and economic aid. We serve as a tie between Afghan villages and American communities, and appeal to hearts and minds in both. As a primarily volunteer-run organization located in Lafayette, CA, our financial support goes to pay costs in Afghanistan.
TIE brings hope to many who have little.
