Welcome to the inaugural ""Summer of Music"", a new citywide live music series presented by homegrown Bay Area concert promoters Noise Pop and the SF-based nonprofit organization, Civic Joy Fund.
The Summer of Music series is hosting hundreds of admission-free performances from local musicians as they perform throughout nine SF neighborhoods and shopping corridors every Saturday afternoon beginning this June. From retail shops to restaurants, come enjoy these free mini-music concerts as you shop, dine and drink locally!
Summer of Music is one of the Civic Joy Fund's five new citywide projects set to jumpstart the City's economic recovery while supporting the artists, musicians, community heroes, and small business owners who make San Francisco the special place that it is today. The Civic Joy Fund is a new multi-million dollar philanthropic project from the Civic Space Foundation that was created to address years of economic hardship in SF as well as a slow recovery from the pandemic that many small business owners and entertainers continue to combat to this very day.
Come explore these incredible neighborhoods this summer while making a major impact in your community and investing your dollars back into local businesses.
