Spookeasy: A New San Francisco Halloween Extravaganza

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The first-ever San Francisco Spookeasy Halloween Extravaganza is a new, daring, bold and sophisticated multi-evening experiential destination party that will transform Chinatown’s Great Star Theatre into a scintillating circus-like, madcap séance soiree beckoning back to life ghosts, spirits, and specters from the raucous and rollicking red hot era of 1930’s Burlesque and Barbary Coast Vaudeville in a decadently opulent Max Fleischer-esque ‘ToonTown’ parallel universe’s haunted Prohibition-era Speakeasy.

The San Francisco Spookeasy is the latest creation from San Francisco’s very own visionary Event Producer and innovator, Artistic Director, Showman and Master Puppeteer, Barron Scott Levkoff, aka ‘The Professor,’ with Technical Direction by Eveline Darroch, renowned for her work with Cirque de Soleil, Franco Dragone, and EDM Festival ‘Tomorrow Land.’

In four intimately immersive and interactive evenings of unrivaled and exhilarating entertainment, from Thursday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1, 2014, the San Francisco Spookeasy will feature an astounding, wondrous, and hilarious world-class ensemble cast starring in a dazzling and captivating full main stage show, along with variety acts, roaming ghostly performers, ‘William Castle spook house’ style scary effects, blacklight puppetry, breathtaking projection and innovative staging, live Jazz-Swing music and dancing, and lots of audience participation. VIP ticket holders will nosh on delectable gourmet treats and other treats.

As the evening approaches the midnight hour, the larger-than-life dancing and singing skeleton that will make everyone face their fears in Mr. Nobody’s Jumpin’ and Wailin’ Tent Show Revival Finale, and the uncanny TRAPEZE-produced electroswing ‘after-party,’ hosted by resident DJ's Delachaux and The Klown (Edwardian Ball SF, Bohemian Carnival). The fun and frolic will continue into the wee hours of the morning as guests are dared to explore the secret environs of the theater; from the backstage Speakeasy to shadowy Chinatown alleyways where even more performers, visuals, dancing, dancers, musicians, puppets, and glittery Go-Go showgirl action surrounds you. The San Francisco Spookeasy will sell out, as only 300 tickets are being made available to the general public for each experiential evening.
