On top of all, Italian music is well known and often associated with its classical side while there is an unknown world of jazz and funk.The meeting with guitarist Trent Berry brought to the decision of putting together a band that can express a smooth blend of Italian and American culture through music.The band proposes original music where one can listen to possible to the different background of each band memberEllisa SunIn a world where drum machines and computer sounds dominate the musical landscape, Ellisa Sun aims to create genuine music with soul. Raised in the city of angels and now calling the San Francisco Bay Area home, Ellisa has found inspiration in artists such as Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Sam Cooke, and Feist. Ellisa blends old time soul music with R&B and more worldly influences like bossanova. This unique blend of genres has garnished some notoriety from local critics; Ellisa was named a top emerging artist by SF Deli magazine and SF weekly called her song “Unravel” “as near to perfect as any song could be” and “damn gorgeous”.Ellisa released her debut album in April of 2017 and has been playing shows throughout San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, and Portland to growing and enthusiastic crowds. Ellisa has also played many Sofar Sounds shows, joining the likes of notable artists such as Leon Bridges, Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Bastille.DJ Msk.fmAntonino Musco is a DJ/producer, radio host and jazz trained musician with an improvisational, audiovisual and soundtracks background.As a solo artist or with his band Sicilian AV project, Antonino performed in some of the Old Continent most exclusive festivals and events, including the XIII Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean (BJCEM), Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival in Rome, IT; Praguebiennale3 in Prague, CZ; Crazycurators Biennale in Bratislava, SK.Resident DJ in some historical venues in the Mission District of San Francisco; Antonino also hosts a weekly radio show (Espresso Sesh) onBFF.FM and the vinyl-only podcast Suona Bene.
