Sea Otter Awareness Week Free Public Lecture

Come to the Seymour Marine Discovery Center as they celebrate Sea Otter Awareness Week with a free public lecture entitled "What Makes a Sexy Sea Otter? An Investigation of Male Territories as a Means of Obtaining Mates." Led by Max Tarjan, a PhD student of the Tinker-Estes Lab at UC Santa Cruz, this lecture explores how paternity analysis and collecting data in the field can answer questions regarding how territories can enable males to attract females.
