CELEBRATING IAN ROBERTSON
They breathe as one. They sing as one.
And together, they ignite the imagination with the power of sound.
This December, witness the might of the San Francisco Opera Chorus as they come together for a night of music, in honor of the artist who has led their group for over 30 years and 300 productions, Chorus Director Ian Robertson.
Now, ahead of his retirement in 2021, Robertson leads the San Francisco Opera Chorus in a farewell performance, featuring some of the most resplendent music in the choral canon. Get ready for an array of classics from Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, and more, as well as more contemporary songs by Florence Beatrice Price, Joan Szymko, and Kate Rusby.
Please note: Per San Francisco city guidelines, all patrons must show proof of vaccination to attend Chorus Concert performances, along with a photo ID. In addition, all patrons are required to wear a mask. Masks with a valve, gaiters, scarves, etc are not permitted.
