The ensemble is led by Braulio Barrera, an internationally renowned percussionist, an exceptional vocalist, and a founding member of the 2014 Grammy Award-winning Pacific Mambo Orchestra. Specializing in the Peruvian cajon, Barrera has taken the world by storm, and now he resides in the Bay Area as a full-time musician, teaching, composing, and performing Peruvian and Latin American music with numerous cultural groups.
