Rebel Babel Ensemble: L.U.C., Zion I and Blue Devils Orchestra

As the Polish tall ship Dar Mlodziezy docks in San Francisco on December 21 as part of its Independence Sail, the international music project Rebel Babel Ensemble arrives from Poland to greet the ship, and give a unique eclectic live music performance in front of an American audience!
REBEL BABEL ENSEMBLE has played with thousands of fans using studio horns at European handball championships, they’ve played with car horns in Madrid, and with subway elevator in Barcelona - now they come to the US to play with the ship horn of Dar Mlodziezy, the Polish tall ship that is now sailing the world to commemorate 100 years of Poland regaining independence. The next day, on December 22, L.U.C. together with Zion 1, Relic Secure and Blue Devils Orchestra will play in SPIN, an event that will be open to public. The admission is free.
REBEL BABEL ENSEMBLE is an international and unlimited Big Band of more than 10,000 musicians performing all over the world together with artists from local orchestras. Meetings and workshops lead to grand gala concerts presented at the biggest festivals as well as unusual performances combining live music with the sounds of nature or technology. The project combines musicians, singers and composers from different regions, crossing cultures, languages and stylistic genres.
L.U.C. (Lukasz Rostkowski) - a repeatedly appreciated European producer, vocalist, music composer, performer, songwriter, concert and video director, called by Polish press an artist of the 21st century.
His innovative and eclectic spirit, unconventional music and lyrics solutions has gained him recognition among many journalists and as a result he's been receiving excellent reviews in the most important Polish cultural magazines.
