Every month, RAW: Natural Born Artists showcases musicians, fashion designers, photographers, painters, filmmakers, makeup artists-a whole cacophonous menagerie of artists all under one roof. It is sensory overload, but in a good way. Plus the whole event is held in a club-with alcohol. After the artist showcase, there is still plenty of music and dancing to be had with DJ Shady Gaga in the mix. San Jose's RAW event is just one chapter of more than 80 all over the country. Each chapter is locally focused with artists and a host from that city. The musical acts performing this month are soul singer Lysee J, R&B singer Realvocalz and garage-rock band feedBACH.
