Rabbit Garcia and Claude Förster

Rabbit Garcia was born in Mexico, but calls San Francisco his home. He is a student at City College of San Francisco where he is majoring in fine arts. His work is inspired by graffiti, illustration, folk art, bunnies, and the occasional acid trip. His works celebrates his community of friends and freaks, and also discloses disturbing childhood memories. He hopes to transfer and continue his studies in a BFA program.

Claude Förster relocated from Hamburg, Germany to San Francisco in 2012 where she studies fine arts at City College of San Francisco. Claude has been involved in feminist, activist, and queer communities since the mid-‘90s. For more than ten years she has been a member of the Bildwechsel Archives in Hamburg, where she has programmed screenings for film festivals such as MIX NYC and the Hamburg International Queer Film Festival and co-founded the Sex Arbeit Film Festival Hamburg. She has also organized numerous concerts at alternative, community-based venues. Claude is an aspiring tattoo artist.
