Introducing our inaugural solo exhibition from the legendary photographer Larry Schorr, as part of the San Francisco First Thursday Art Walk.
Join us for this special event, we will have the bands Hyperdrive Kittens & R-Not Robots performing a special set coinciding with the exhibition. We will also be having themed Punk Rocktails curated by our amazing bartender in house, as well as drink specials (code ARTWALK). In addition to the event, Larry will be here in attendance introducing his new book he made specifically for the event! Come meet the artist and celebrate an evening that is sure to blow you away!
Larry Schorr is a photographer based in San Francisco. His original photographs captured an early era of punk music and beyond, with some legendary bands in their modest beginnings. He has worked with bands such as Blondie, The Dead Kennedys, Genesis, DEVO, The Clash, Mutants, Patti Smith, The Tubes, and more! His recent article in the SF Examiner has brought to light images that were hidden for so many years. Music City is honored to bring these images to the public, where we will have framed photographs, prints, and his new book available for purchase!
