Patrick, now age 24, grew up in South London and began refining his precocious talents at the age of eleven when he escaped from school troubles by late night experimentation in the corners of his bedroom with his violin, voice and car boot sale organs on a four-track tape recorder. Although beginning his musical education a few years before with rigorous violin lessons and church choirs, it wasn't until Patrick's obsession for early twentieth-century electronics - which lead to a study and construction of a Theremin - that Patrick really developed a strong ambition to create new and innovative music and that has power and emotion enough to communicate directly to the heart. Patrick finished his third album "The Magic Position" on the 30th of June 2006 on his 23rd birthday and was released by UK indie label Loog, in cooperation with a worldwide deal through Polydor/Universal in the February of 2007. Patrick has been touring his third album around the world to great critical acclaim, while appearing on everything from The Charlotte Church Show, Newsnight, Transmission and The Culture Show in the U.K to a notorious performance on the Late Night With Conan O'brien In New York to Los Angeles to a raptuous audience on The Jimmy Kimmel show. While breaking new ground in Japan and Australia, patrick will continue on his almost year and a half tour that will finish in December of 2007 and take him back around the planet to sing and share the music once again on the third and final leg of the magic position tour. We hope to see you at one of the shows wherever you may be, it will be the last opportunity to catch Patrick in the magic position, before a skin is shed and 2008 brings a whole new album and set of stories to share.
