Pardon The Interruption with Jethro Jeremiah Band

New Wave/Prog-Pop troubadours Pardon The Interruption are thrilled to return to the stage at the iconic Sweetwater Music Hall on Thursday, June 5. Opening the night will be roots, reggae, ska, and soul-driven Jethro Jeremiah Band.

Roaring out of the fog-shrouded hills of Sonoma and drowning out the chatter, New Wave/Prog-Pop troubadours Pardon the Interruption (aka PTI) are taking their place, asserting their voice in the storied musical conversation of the San Francisco Bay Area.

One foot is planted firmly in the past, paying homage to some of the most singular and iconic artists of the '70s, '80s, and '90s. The other is stepping boldly forward, producing original material that is nostalgically familiar and entirely modern and unique. It's undeniably fun and will make you dance.

Band leader, lead singer, and guitarist David Noble (Wreckless Strangers, Poor Man's Whiskey, Nina Hagen) has assembled three of the finest, most versatile session musicians in Northern California and fostered a cohesion that transcends music, including force of nature bassist Rob Fordyce (Peer Pressure, The Ring, Big Brother and the Holding Company), in-demand Americana drummer Rob Hooper (Jimmy Dale Gilmore, The Resentments, Carolyn Wonderland), and saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Jamison Smeltz (D8FeX, mRthKon, Ten Ton Chicken).

With each show, PTI demands the attention of fans of funk, pop, ska, jam, prog, and plain old rock 'n' roll. The New Wave stylings of Pardon The Interruption are infectious and stand apart from the typical NorCal sound. Take a bite, and you'll see these guys mean business!

About the Jethro Jeremiah Band: From singing on the city streets of San Francisco to performing on big stages all around the Bay Area, Jethro Jeremiah has been gracing the Bay Area and beyond with his brand of reggae/soul music for the past 19 years and has no urge to stop any time soon. Jethro has opened for musical legends such as the late great Ray Charles, Jimmy Cliff, Ziggy Marley, Michael Franti, The John Butler Trio, Groundation, Donavan, Zigaboo Modeleste, The Skatalites, and more. The Jethro Jeremiah Band performs in and around the Bay Area. Their sound blends of reggae and soul music, emphasizing the lyrical message, melodies, and harmonies, while dropping a nice beat for folks to move to. The band consists of Jethro Jeremiah on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Noelle Glory on backing harmonies, Steven Munger on Sax, Dan Stillwell on drums, and Toads Marcelino on bass guitar. Jethro also sings with the Bay Area popular 10-piece ska band Soul Ska, featuring members of Vinyl, Monophonics, Stymie & The PJLO, Albino, and The Right Time.

Jethro's three albums are available on cdbaby.com, reverbnation.com, and iTunes.com. His latest record, "All That We Got," is available at his live shows and online.
