Every second and third Tuesday night of the month, the Milk Bar hosts Milkin’ It, a free night of comedy featuring local and national comics hosted by comedians Andrew Holmgren (VICELAND) and Leslie Small (SF Sketchfest).
There’s never a cover nor a drink minimum. Doors open at 7:30 pm with comedy starting at 8 pm sharp.
The January 16th, 2018 lineup includes:
Torio Van Grol - Comedy Central
Drew Harmon - SF Sketchfest
Julie Ash - #HellaFunny
Jordan Thewlis - Important Comedy
Chey Bell - Cobb’s Comedy Club
Roman Leo - Punch Line Comedy Club
About our Headliner:
Torio Van Grol was first discovered by a gentleman naturalist in 1676, causing an uproar among the clergy, who claimed that he was placed on Earth by God as a test of faith. After much careful study, Torio has been widely accepted as real, though some controversy lingers. Many people believe that early humans coexisted peacefully with him, even caring for him and riding on his back as a form of transportation. But Torio is not strong enough to carry people, instead relying on speed, cunning and a bulletproof eBay rating for survival. In 2016, he was listed as one of the Bay Area's best stand-up comedians by SFist. He won the title, "Best Joke of 2015" by the award-winning SF blog Courting Comedy. In 2017, Torio performed as apart of Comedy Central's Clusterfest, and in SF Sketchfest for his third time.
