In this workshop, Emotions in Grayscale, participants will learn to: • Express their emotions using black and white textures and strokes with grayscale. • Experiment using gouache with soluble graphite (Artgraf), graphite pencil and Chinese ink. • Play with textures, spots and accidents to express their sensations. • Mix ink with graphite pencil for some amazing results.

Materials: Gouache and Chinese ink will be provided. You will need to bring a clean palette, brushes, paper or sketchbook, 2 water containers, water soluable graphite and a stool or chair.
