2018 was a breakout year for Luttrell as a solo artist. Alongside the release of his ‘Intergalactic Plastic’ EP, the title track of which was named Hottest Record In The World on BBC Radio 1, he has played major festivals like Tomorrowland, Holy Ship and the DoLab Stage at Coachella, and toured the world with Anjunadeep, Rüfüs Du Sol, Lane 8 and Above & Beyond.
Luttrell is heavily immersed in the SF arts scene so he could rap on that (he used to live in a warehouse that was home to many local artists). The M Machine was heavily into technology and their final album, "Glare" was initially released in a very non-traditional way whereby fans who had the music could give it to others via phone by standing next to them. The more the person shared the music, the more tracks that would be unlocked. Ultimately this was an interesting social experiment. The music is awesome.
