Luna Negra - All Women Performances

SEE EVENT DETAILS
MCCLA proudly presents an evening of music, dance, poetry celebrating March Women’s History Month in it’s 12th edition.

First and foremost: We believe that Women’s Rights are Human Rights and Human Rights are Women’s Rights.

We are inviting everyone to this one night event celebration of the women’s month here at MCCLA, for the 13th year in a row.

Presenting:

POETRY READING: Sara Marinelli is a writer, translator, and educator. Her stories appear in New American Writing, Blue Mesa Review, and many Italian publications. For her fiction, she was awarded residencies at the Vermont Studio Center, Byrdcliffe Art Colony, and BANFF Center for the Arts. Sara teaches Comparative Literature at the University of San Francisco and San Francisco State University. She is working on a novel about family grief, set in a superstitious and religious Naples.

8:30 - MUSIC PERFORMANCE: Trío Cambio, is a group born in the fight against evictions in la Mission. As believers in creation through change, their music is for justice.

It is $10 for General Admission
