Apparently Jofa is friends with himself because his "band" is called "Jofa and friends" and he's a one-man band. Indeed, his bio lists him under every instrument: guitar, bass, drums, vocals. He cranks out some fun punk rock tunes with garage-rock and '80s skate punk influences, all with a somewhat silly edge. It's like sped-up Chuck Berry songs, or a light-hearted Black Flag. On the video for "I'm Not Sorry" he runs around a grocery store with his electric guitar, harassing unsuspecting patrons while shredding. But it's not all goofy. His song "McChildren" angrily expounds upon how McDonalds is making children fat. Though, with the repeated clips of Chunk from the Goonies in the video, it's not that serious either. (Aaron Carnes)
