The Emerald Tablet and Jazz in the Neighborhood present an evening of jazz featuring some of the best musicians in the Bay Area.
Since 2012, The Emerald Tablet has hosted top notch jazz evenings every second Friday under the stewardship of master trumpet player and teacher Mario Guarneri, and his organization Jazz in the Neighborhood.
On Friday, a unique quartet featuring Guarneri, Erik Jekabson, John Wiitala, and Hamir Atwal will play “reconstructions” — musical improvisations on jazz standards — with an opening act by the jazz combo from the School of the Arts in San Francisco.
