Women's Audio Mission (WAM) is a San Francisco-based nonprofit that advances women and girls in music production and the recording arts. WAM is the only women-run professional recording studio in the world and a 2012 Best of the Bay winner selected by the San Francisco Bay Guardian. -Gain an understanding of the physics and science behind sound and how it affects the recording process
-Learn signal flow and the recording chain
-Learn how microphones work and basic microphone skills
-Learn the basics of digital audio and recording with digital audio workstations like Pro Tools
-How to solder and make your own cables!
