Join us for Inside Views: A Hip Hop Showcase by Youth!
Twice a year the BRL community comes together to highlight and celebrate the creative and personal achievements of our youth. Through this wonderful tradition we remember our youth are not simply “at risk” but rather “at promise”, and with the right care they can heal, grow and lead. The concept of "inside views" represents taking the time to really see the perspective of youths' everyday lives. Having an inside view of their lives we discover the resilience, power, and creativity youth have. We hope for everyone to join us for this incredible evening of lyrical expression, fun and healing!
The Inside Views showcase will feature:
Performances from our San Francisco, East Bay, Oakland High School and SFUSD (Wille Brown, Malcolm X, El Dorado)
BRL Academy Performances
BRL Merch Shop (Buttons, stickers, shirts, much more)
Appetizers and Refreshments
