An award-winning vocalist returns to Stanford as a grad student, 30 years after her undergrad degree, with stories to tell. This show will inspire Stanford students and audiences alike to take risks and embrace life. With daring interpretations of both popular and theatrical songs, Illana blends her classically-trained soprano with her passion for dramatic storytelling in this cabaret of students and professional instrumentalists.
She will be joined by Marie-Louise Catsalis on piano, Christian de Haan on bass, Tommy Kesecker on drums, with students as guests.
