Project Queue
Hailing from the Bay Area, Project Queue’s members comprise a very unique background that creates the perfect harmony of Fusion, Funk and Soul. With infectious grooves and melodies that take you for a ride, Project Queue turns any venue into a funky, driving, high-energy party. Willy Jordan on drums (who’s played with acts like John Lee Hooker, Elvin Bishop, Charlie Mussellwhite, Angel Streli, Joe Louis Walker, Volker Strifler, Carlos Santana, Eric Lindell, Doyle Brammall, and Brotherhood of Groove) and Andy Levine on bass (who holds a PhD in Groovology) lay down some of the tightest grooves you’ll ever hear. Jonathan Lancaster (an award winning, conservatory trained musician) chimes in on saxophone with a sound heavily influenced by artists like Hank Mobley and Pharaoh Sanders, while Neal (a classical pianist) drops some insanely funky lines on keys. John McCartney (toured with Tina Turner, Al Green and Rick James) sprinkles in driving hand percussion and Kimberly Wade (a bluegrass specialist and classical virtuoso) adds soaring fiddle melodies to the mix. Founder, The Redman, is a fusion, funk and rock connoisseur who studied music composition at the University level, delivering a high-energy style reminiscent of Tommy Bolin. Guinevere Q (vocals) is a musician, poet, and activist with a uniquely mesmerizing theatrical style.
Kiss My Freakwency
Formed in San Francisco, Kiss My Freakwency projects alternative rock sounds with an international flavor. Burnzio, who is a recording artist and a songwriter, has over 20 years of guitar and multi instrument experience has focused on finding a fresh style. He creates alternative rock inespanoles, jazz, blues with a native american soul. In 2015, Burnzio united with an international singer-songstress Aselle Bekkah who comes from a nomadic culture of Kyrgyzstan. She moved to California at 19 years old to pursue her art form in cultured style of singing. KMF has featured rhythm section players such as Venezuelan drummer Wilmer and bass guitarist Keric Alvarez, bay area bass player Philly Peterson, and a young upstart drummer who played his first professional gig at the age of nineteen Trent Tanzi. ZIVA
Israel born, SF based singer-songwriter, Ziva, has been writing songs and performing around the Bay Area for the past 6 years, playing notable venues such as Slim’s, The Independent, Yoshi’s and Cafe du Nord. She released ‘Just Another Night’ in early 2012. The self-produced EP is a collection of 5 powerful, anthemic, jazz-tinged, piano-driven rock ballads. Nowadays, she performs jazz-tinged acoustic soul and pop, while accompanying herself mostly with an acoustic guitar. Trained in classical music and jazz, both vocally and instrumentally, as well as having fronted 2 popular funk bands back in her homeland, has made Ziva an incredibly versatile vocalist.
