Local author Cedar Sigo performs a reading among altars, colored lights, and descending tones. Voicehandler (Jacob Heule and Danishta Rivero) play intuitive, incantatory music grounded in the human voice and percussion, but juxtaposed with contemporary, disembodied electronics. Cedar Sigo was raised on the Suquamish Reservation in the Pacific Northwest. He is the editor of There You Are: Interviews, Journals, and Ephemera by Joanne Kyger (forthcoming from Wave Books) and author of eight books and pamphlets of poetry.
